Chapter 5

Shantal POV's

“Mom!! Im leaving!”I shout and pick my bag im excited to go shopping you know its boring to stay at home and its Sunday Fun day! I want to go shopping with mom but its her rest day she need to rest she had a lot of appointments last week and also this coming week.

“Take care my daughter call me if you need anything okay?” mom said and kiss my forehead, im so lucky to my mom and ofcourse to my family coz you know they spoiled and treasure me like this even I have a poor IQ hihi.

I take our car and dropped to me to the nearest mall here in Quezon City, They said there’s a lot of sales so I need to go here I love sales yeah I have money to buy everything but I really prefer a cheap prices hahaha im also a weird one. Anyway im Shantal Alvarez, Yuan is my cousin on mother side and im a loner person and always got bullied on school since elementary.

How I wish that someday I got a new best friend have the same year as me, besides of Angelica Lim, step sister of Justin Chenerey I don’t have another friends, if I got one for sure they just using me because of fame and money and to get near on my cousin so yeah its complicated.Its hard to find a true friend, I got scared to tell Yuan everything what happen to me I don’t want him to involved on my bullies thingy so I remain silent.

Oh I don’t notice im already here on the department store, yeah they are 50% sale!!!

I buy all dresses, skirts, shirt that I got attracted besides its sale so I got it all for cheaper price.

When im done I send it all my purchased clothes with the help of mall staffs to my car.I go to the comfort room i need to pee.

But why I got a bad luck today? Becca is her in the mall with her fellow circle of friends and why on mall that I saw them here in the comfort room.

“Oops guys! Were lucky I think its Shantal” Becca said and start to go near on me damn it.Please some one help me to get rid on them.

“W-what do you need? i-I need to go”I said and about to go out of the cubicle when they block my way huhu poor me.

“Keep calm Shantal we don’t do anything on you but you look scared already” Becca said and try to get my bag they want money again they are studying on Bradford but why they always getting my money? Are they poor? Or they just tripping me?

“ I didn’t bring any money so please spare me”I said again

“You don’t bring money? Don’t fool us! You want to get hurt?!”she shouted and was about to slapped me when someone enter the Comfort Room.

“Don’t cat fight here, go outside”the girl said I fix my dress and look to the girl who just enter the room and its Ryka! I don’t know why I feel safe and became brave now. I was about to cry before but now she came!!!

“Don’t upsurge! You go out!”Becca said and look at me again but this time I glare at her that makes her mad she was going to slapped me again when Ryka speak again.

“my time is precious in a small minutes I can make money and I don’t want to waste it because of you so please you go out here youre just a trash”Ryka said and wash her hands. So cool!!!

“ You b***h!”Becca shout and attack Ryka but she failed Ryka avoid it aggressively.And kick Becca’s side.

“I still have a lot of work but here I am now wasting my time on you dumb ass”Ryka said after that all of Becca’s friends try to attack Ryka but they also got failed snd hurt. That all suited you!

“Is that a fight? It supposed to be a warm up”Ryka said and try to attack them but they all run away. Winner!!!

“Ryka are you fine?!”I said but Ryka just look at me in worried emotion.

“im fine? You did they hurt you?”she said and look at my body I just smile at her

“Im fine too, thank you Ryka”I said and hug her, Ryka is really different I know she don’t want to got near on me but im the one insisting to be beside her so im feeling that she is not like the other, she is not a gold digger.

“Next time learn to fight for yourself”Ryka said I just smile and hold her arms.

“I think I deserve a treat?”Ryka said and laugh I know by her voice she is kidding but I really going to treat her.

“Lets go!”I said but Ryka doesn’t move and just look at me

“I still have a work and I come here to pee”she said and run to the cubicle I laugh because for sure she stopping herself before hahaha.

Ryka POV's

Im still here now with Shantal, what time she planning to go home? Almost my work time is wasted because she is here. Beside they own this mall and our manager know her so she convince him to accompany her while staying here in the Pizzary.

"You know Ryka i really admire your braveness" Shantal said while eating her pizza.

"Like what ive said you should know how to fight for yourself not all the time there is someone willing to help you"i said and drink the lemonade.

"But why on school? when Ashley bullying you, why you don't fight back?"she ask i look at her she really look like curious about that.

"There are times we need to give way or give a long patience for those who have a narrow minded" i said and smile i was good at observing people just by their way of speaking and moving and besides im just a scholar in Bardford I don't have a strength to fight back you know they have money to divert the issue.

" You are really cool!"Shantal said and giggles haha she is cute. Another hours passed her mom called her to go home so she decided to leave and that's good. Its going late.

"Bye Ryka! see you on school!"Shantal said and wave her hand i smile back and wave min too she really a good friend. When she left i do my duty again until closing.

When i got home Rion is not here where that kid goes? i just clean some trash and go to my small kitchen and cook for our dinner. its past 7 pm already maybe he have a lot of group works.

"Im home!"speaking of the boss arrived insert the sarcasm.

"Why go home late?"i ask him he just raised his hand and show some paper i see its their group works.

"Okay change your clothes within 20 minutes im done cooking here we still have a left over rice it can still be eaten"i said he just nod, what with his emotion? is he have a fever?

Marc Daniel POV's

"Tomorrow morning he can discharged"the doctor said damn! Why tomorrow? im already fine im so sick bored here i want to go home.

"That's great thanks doctor"Dad said and sit beside my bed and continue peeling the apple while humming, he is a bit weird today. Im really bored right now Mom is in office while those jerk im referring to Yuan and those two they go to school.

"Daniel im hoping that this will never happen again"dad speak so i look at him, he said my second name so he is serious its so rare to him to call me by my second name so those times are he is serious.

"No one want this things to happen to them"i said trying to lighten the mood but he glared at me okay he is really serious about these.

"Sorry dad, yes i try my best to not happen again"i said then he continue to peel the apple then he grin like an i***t.

" so handsome when you discharged and finally stable let's go to a new club on Cubao they said a lots of beautiful and sexy women clubbing there"dad said and grin widely this man is really crazy im so thankful that i don't inherit his being womanizer.

" Who's going to club?"mom enter the room so dad immediately get near to mom and hug her.

"Im just kidding about that"dad said and look to mom i know mom can't resist dad's charisma.

"Marcus stop being the butt head"mom said to dad it his name anyway,they look like a teenager couple who have a small quarrel im so lucky they are a good genes so in a results im so perfect haha lol.

" Im a good boy Dannie sweetie"dad said to mom i just roll my eyes, dad face is not cool anymore who the hell is womanizer but looking at themselves as a faithful husband well my dad was like that.

"Anyway son you will discharge tomorrow, great you're recovering next time try to get involved again to a fight then when we go here you already a dead body"mom said in full of sarcasm so i look at her like i can't believe what she says is she hoping that ill die? my mom is a savage.

"Just kidding"mom said and smile she is savage indeed.

i just get my phone and open my account im gonna search Ryka in Facebook.. wait? what is her full name again?

"Ryka Santos"

so i type it on the search bar.. but who the hell told me that?

" Dad?!! why do you know??"i shout

"I ask her when she bring you here anyway she is beautiful but need to got dressed"dad said and eat the apple on his hand.

"Yes indeed she is beautiful i think i saw her somewhere but i don't remember"mom said of course maybe mom encountered her already she had a lot of part time job so not that impossible..

" Don't call her like a beautiful or elegant lady she moves like a real man tho"i said

"We didn't call her elegant lady son, youre the one who think of it"mom tease me, these parent is really something but still im lucky to have them....

Ryka POV's

"What is Dynamical System? Mr.Mavis?"prof ask Howard who look nowhere i he just staring outside the room.

"Mr.Mavis?! Youre spacing out!"Prof shout that makes Howard go back to himself and look confused does he have a problem?

"Sorry sir, I don't know the answer"he said and look outside again he loves math subject but why now? Is he worrying about his friend Marc? i don't know.

"You Ms.Santos?! what is Dynamical System??"prof ask and look at me intently my god i also don't know the answer.

"Ryka page 13" Shantal whisper so i immediately turn the book pages and i read the meaning of Dynamical System.

"Dy-dynamical system is a fixed rule describes the time dependence of a point in geometrical space sir"i answer and take my seat.

"I thought youre also spacing out im gonna make choose you where you want to stand, outside or at the back!"he shouted again and continues his lessons.

After his lessons he dismissed us and Shantal go near to me.

"Ryka, lets go to Cafeteria together my treat"Shantal said i just nod and keep my things then we go to cafeteria i saw Katerin eating alone there.

"Hey Katerin,why you didn't wait us?!"i said and glare at her she just peace sign at us and smile.

"Im really hungry I don't take breakfast" she said and continue eating, well she really hungry at this case.We just talk random things after we get our orders.

"Anyway how is Marc? Ryka youre the one eho bring him to the hospital right?"Katerin ask i nod at her and continue eating my carbonara, so delicious!!!

"he still alive of course"i answer Katerin just roll her eyes on me.

"Later we will visit him on the hospital with Yuan, come join us?"Shantal ask Katerin aggressively accept it because she hear Yuan's name of course she will come.

"How about you Ryka?"Shantal ask again, sadly i still have a job after school.

"Can't go i still have job"i said but they're face become sad.How can i resist those face like Marc Daniel gonna die tomorrow? hahaha

"Fine fine, ill come but i will go after im not gonna stay there for long"i said we just continue out lunch and go back to our class. last two subject for this day then time to go home for those who doesn't have a financial problem hahaha.

When we go back to room i saw Howard there still thinking deeply? what's wrong with him? did he take his lunch?

"Hey Hollard are you okay?"i ask him but he don't respond.

" Yuhooo Hollaard? im talking to you"i said but he just glare at me.

"HOWARD not Hollard i***t!And please don't talk to me after you left me on the road"he said then i remember what i do to him last time yeah i know im harsh to leave him alone but you know he is so disturbing and i hate that so i left him to the park

"Okay fine im sorry for that just please dont follow me again like that, you know its creepy side of you"i said but he just look away again.

"So attitude!!" i said and go back to my seat, my prof is arrived so we continue our lessons...

After two subject i still don't talk to Howard like we use to talk, he really that mad?

"Ryka let's go!"Katerin shout outside she's that excited huh? she was smiling from ear to ear. she is creepy too.

When we got to the parking lot of school i saw Yuan and Justin? i think that is his name in front of their car, okay they are really rich. They look at us and Yuan excited to got near to us and wave his hand.

"Hi Ryka! Hi Katerin, hi cousin!"he said and look at me

"Hi Yuan"Katerin said i think she gonna explode her face is really red so Shantal is to the rescue to stop Katerin to get wild.

"Ryka? I don't have a hello?"Yuan said and pout so i awkwardly smile at him.

"Oh sorry, hello Yuan"i said and wave my hand too.Then he smile again. After that we decided to take the car and drove us to the hospital where Marc is confine.

At first they are all noisy except Justin and Howard but when we enter the hospital they become quiet until we are all in front of Marc's room Yuan enter the room first then we just follow him.

"Budd! I miss you!"Yuan shout then Marc just look at him blankly.

"Are you gay?" Marc said

"Of course not moron!"Yuan said and open the TV until Marc look at me like he can't believe that im here.

"What are you doing here?"he ask so everyone look at us, i rolled my eyes seriously?

"im going to eat here, of course im here to visit you, beside they just pull me here you will discharge here tomorrow so why need to visit you" im trying to sounds funny but i think he misunderstood it the way his jaw tighten.

" I stay here for almost a week but why you didn't visit me?"he said like a kid what wrong with him? everyone here in the room is confused the way he acts he is sort of weirdo.

"Im busy okay si i excuse myself and thank self for visiting you"i said and immediately open the door and go out, i don't want the intense feel happening inside. I direct go to Convenience store and do my duty there i need to divert everything im still bothered of Marc Daniel why acting like that suddenly?
