What we have encountered in the recent days could not be explained nor have we seen anything of the sort. Nowhere in the seas we have traversed nor in the harbors of the barbarian lands where we set foot have we seen such a vessel. It was a ship of admirable proportions and it approached us from the South with great speed, and the soldiers and the crew attempted to hail it to no effect.
