“Is he still ranting?” Not that Bobby cared, but he could hope.
“So I hear.”
“Drugs?”
“Nothing in his system should have caused this. The docs believe his mind snapped.”
“Release?”
“I don’t think you need fear that. He went after one of their own like his brother did. This is the second time one of the Mannings have put Chantelle at risk. You and Sam as well, of course.”
Bobby pursed his lips. They’d twisted the truth, so all their stories made sense, and no questions would land any of them in hospital for serious mental and health checks.
“On top, even when, or if, he stops ranting about wolfmen and monsters, he’ll be undergoing treatment for years. They can’t even remove the straitjacket.”
