Samantha's POV
A day had been chosen for departure. Our bags were packed, and all that was left was to say goodbyes to our loved ones for the short parting. It was supposed to be a five-day visit, but I couldn't wait to return back to Ravenfur Pack to be with Adrian. I knew he'd be well taken care of by Luna Tamia and Adams, but I missed him already.
"When will you be back?" Adrian asked, his small hands still wrapped around my neck, refusing to let go from the hug that had gone on for long.
"Just five days, my love," I said, managing to pull him away a bit so I could see his face.
