I was now left alone with Adam. He was still standing by the door, just giving that stare that was enough scolding. I sighed; I knew he was about to make me explain. It wasn't easy not to get on Alaric's nerves because he was also annoying to begin with; Adam just didn't know that. He finally took his first step, then came into the dining area.
