Samantha's POV
I was stuck in the moment, in a revelation that shook me to my core. That realization sent chills down my spine. It made me think, was my healing ability gotten from him? But he got his wolf before he turned eighteen. Could it then be the other way around? Could Alaric heal this quickly because he was mated to me?
I hadn't said anything as thoughts kept swirling in my mind, neither did Alaric speak anymore, but his fixed gaze on me told me he was curious about what I was thinking. Not just that, I knew he was also curious about my fighting skills.
I haven't yet thought of what to tell him if he eventually asked. It was my first time fighting rogues and even killing them. I haven't yet processed the fact that I had not just killed one but many rogues.
