Samantha's POV
I froze for a second, my heart making several somersaults hearing him say the words in person. I darted my gaze from side to side, fixing it on his, so relieved to hear those words. In the deepest part of my heart, I've always wanted this, to hear him say these words someday to me.
"What!" I muttered, still stunned hearing it directly from him. Without moving his hands from my cheeks, he continued. "I loved you back then, Samy, while we were teenagers. I've loved you this entire time. I'm still in love with you, Samantha, after all these years." He said and placed his head back on mine, then he whispered, "You have no idea how much you make my heart beat for you," he confessed, and my heart plummeted.
