Today was Samantha's welcome ceremony, the day I had desperately waited for. I wanted to meet Julian Lockhart and confirm that Samantha was indeed lying to me.
She just had to be lying, she couldn't possibly bring a Julian Lockhart to this party, Adrain had to be my son, I was sure of it. When I asked Adrain who his father was he responded with a question instead.
'Why would you want to know? Even if I told you who he was, you still wouldn't know him.' that was the response I got from Adrain, it felt like a slap to my face and an indirect way of him telling me I was being nosy. I couldn't believe Adrain's audacity to speak to me, an alpha, that way but I guess he was his mother's son.
