Alaric's POV
I had released my father's council upon my father's arrival to the pack. My defiance was long overdue, and I knew we needed them present for whatever my father had to say about getting back with Samantha.
I had submitted updated reports to him as he demanded as well. First was the report of the cure and the trial of the final phase with little side effects. He was impressed by Samantha's intelligence.
I also gave him the updated reports about our earlier tracking of the rogues to Greyfur Pack. Erin had been the representative sent to them, and after investigations by the Alpha of Greyfur, we received reports that there was no such suspicious presence in the pack. Of course, I didn't believe it, so I doubled the spies sent to infiltrate Greyfur Pack.
