A girl dashed through the woods running for her life but every single step she took brought more dangers at her back. She could hear it all the whispers of the winds, the stampedes of horses as well as the footsteps of the guards but none deterred her as she kept on running and running when suddenly she slipped and rolled off the cliff, luckily grabbing a branch which prevented her from falling to her death. She clung on to the branch for her dear life but the branch wasn't strong enough as it kept on loosing every second till it finally snapped but was caught by the two guards who pulled her up tied her and headed back to the palace. When they arrived at the palace,they dropped her in front of Belthazaar also known as the Ruler of the Underworld his dad being Hades and all.

What did I tell you about escaping Eretria? King Belthazaar thundered

Answer me, he bellowed as he landed her a dirty slap which made her to bleed.

Eretria looked at the King and spat out the blood,but refused to utter a word.

I told you that Everytime you try to escape one of your citizens will be beheaded in your front. How many times will we go over this, he continued as he snapped his fingers and a guard dragged in a prisoner.

Eretria's eyes widened in shock as she beholded the prisoner in front of her. It was no other person but her best friend Kira since they were kids.

No,no, please Belthazaar don't do this, I beg of you. Eretria begged as she struggled with her ropes.

Any last words princess? Before I cut off her head. Belthazaar sneered.

Don't worry, my princess I know you will find a way to escape and defeat this heartless monster. The people of Eraphis believe in you. I know you will avenge us all, Kira said with her last breath.

I'll teach you how to shut up, Belthazaar said as he swung the sword and neatly severed her head which rolled and came to a stop before Eretria and stopped. Then it blinked.

Noooo! she screamed and went limp,the terror being much for her.

Without blinking an eye, Belthazaar levitated a knife which slashed the solider's neck before he even had the chance to attack.

You heartless monster how could you? Eraline said as she charged towards him with a sword in her hand. Belthazaar merely moved his hand and Eraline was thrown right across the room. A side door opened as a little girl of 5 years in her PJ's clutching a white teddy bear walked in rubbing her eyes.

Mummy? What's going on? Eretria asked

Sweetie I need you to go back to your room right now ok. I need you to run now.

But mummy,I don't want to leave you. Mummy I am scared.

Belthazaar looked at the kid and said,I didn't know you had a child already,oh well. He summoned a knife and threw it at the kid but Eraline was faster as she teleported in front of her and got stabbed instead.

MUMMY! Eretria screamed as she held her mum, the blood staining her.

I am sorry, Eretria but remember this always. You are the key ok. Find your missing half and all secrets will be revealed on to you. Eraline said secretly transferring her powers to her( Eretria) as she dissolved in glowing ashes and disappeared.

Nooo! The unknown voice screamed as I gasped and woke up on my bed,sweats slicking off my body. I had always had these nightmare but I can't seem to remember who or why or how I have a connection to the girl in my dream but I just know it.

Snow! time to prepare for school, my mum said as she opened my door.

In a little street down by the dusty road avenue, a girl stood in front of the mirror wearing PJ's. She took a worn out towel which was originally silver and entered the makeshift bathroom,had a quick bath and came out. She picked up a long sleeve,sniffed it and decided it wasn't smelling and wore it,with a faded jeans. She brought out a mismatched sneakers and wore, leaving the lace untied,wore a headwarmer without attending to her unkempt hair. She got downstairs and met a middle aged woman who titled herself as being " the woman who gave birth to her".

Anyways she rushed out of the wretched home and made her way to the number 1 pizza shop in town- Pete's pleasing pizza palace or 4 p'z.
