"She's watching? Isn't this the first?"
"Of course, he's her boyfriend, plus the other one was her brother,"
"Oh, I heard they broke up?"
"Really? So sad, they look so good together,"
"Heck, Devon deserves better, tbh. Devon probably just dated her because of her brother,"
My eyes closed as I try to block all the negativity around me. Instead, I focused on the stage where Devon and my brother will soon be performing.
