“We have a problem.” “And that is?” I ask. “Well, I just came back from Ziruk and he told me that he has somebody he wants you to acquire.” “Well...what’s the name?” “Christopher Dean.” “Okay. Anything else the Ziruk wants from me?” My servant, Jaden, shook his head. I dismiss him and think of how I am going to get Christopher Dean’s soul. Well, one way, I could bargain with him. I look into the either and the thing he wants the most is…nothing. That won’t work. Another way, I could always take his sister and demand his soul for her. That would work best in this situation. “Jaden, you need to get one of Christopher’s sister. I think their names are Trinity and Mae. Do you think you can do that?” I say, after days of getting my house ready for her. “Yes, milord. I can do that. Do you wish me to do anything else while I’m out?” Oblivious to the sarcasm, “Leave a note in the boy’s room that he is to meet me at the River of Souls at midnight, and to come alone.” He nods and goes to do my bidding. He is gone for just a minute before he is back with one of his sisters, Trinity. As he hands me the girl, he tells me he did as he was told. Jaden flashes himself out of the room as I take her to her room. All that is left to do is to wait for Christopher to show up at midnight. So, as a good demon, I wait as patiently. After an hour, I start pacing a hole in the floor.
