THOSE SHIVERS
I haven't had nightmares for a long time. I used to dream about truly mundane things without any kind of meaning and my heart would go numb a few seconds after scratching the surface of my sleep so I could wake up alone in my bed, there was no one who would keep me company other than silence itself. The sound of my heavy breathing after having dreamed something strange and then a little fit of laughter at not being able to remember anything at all. But this time I remembered. This time I could live through the dream and everything that happened looked and felt so real. It was always like this when my birthday and the anniversary of the last letter I received were just around the corner.
