The light from the head of the staff shot towards Khander –
“AAARRH!” an inhuman cry was heard. The sound echoed in the walls of the throne room. Then, the cry was followed by a thud when something fell on the floor.
Khander turned and felt a chill run down his spine when he saw a creature’s body lying on the floor and was now lifeless. “… what is this?” he asked with a bated breath. He felt his sweat slide down the side of his face, obviously showing how nervous he was earlier!
He really thought that Dawey would kill him! But, it turned out that there was something behind him, and definitely wanted to kill him!
