“Doctor Gie!!” Marie exclaimed when she went out and met doctor Gie coming out of the door. “You are finally back?!” she exclaimed. “And you are safe!” she said and smiled, feeling a sense of relief when she saw that the good doctor was unharmed.
She remembered that the knights were looking for ‘Leui’ and Gie and Mhir were implicated. Her family, too, but she didn’t feel resentment towards ‘Leui’. Instead, they prayed for the three’s safety. Although they don’t understand why the knights are looking for ‘Leui’, they know that their intentions aren’t good. She also didn’t believe that they had committed any crimes, thus her favorability towards the knights decreased.
