Isabella Things has been looking up. So far no more s****l affairs in his office. Sure that same lady had visited more then one time but Mr. Saunders had kindly dismiss her to where she left in a puff. My work seemed endless and it has only been the third day but Mr. Saunders had always have something for me to do. He never trained me just left me instructions on the side of my desk. And those bags that were under his eyes where now gone. Must be the well needed sleep he has been getting. Jack has been going to the day care. The twins are actually great with kids. Mrs. Louis however was a bit sad that she hardly get's to see Jack so I made it to where she get to spend time with him after work while I do some school work online. Yes I am now taking online classes. The transitioning was hard at first. I was always used to going into class but online class isn't so bad. Still no news of my dad which gotten me worried. I even checked out some of the bars he would usually go to but no one has seen nor heard from him. He does leave the house for days but always let me know when he will be back or at least to check up on me and Jack. "Let's eat out." A very hungry Mr. Saunders popped his head out of his office while fixing his tie. "Eat out?" "Well yeah. I know this great cafe across the street." I guess I could use a different kind of scenery. "Sure." I smiled. "Great, I'll get Jack and meet you down stairs." Him and Jack has gotten real close within only a span of a few days. In fact Jack rather go to Mr. Saunders than me. Should I feel jealous or hurt. Nope. Not in the least bit. After all Jack needed a male figure in his life and while my dad never cut it. In fact he never once held Jack since I got him. Perhaps it reminded him of her. None the less he was a part of me and a part of him. Nodding my head I watch him walk away with his hands in his pocket. He seemed more carefree now and who knew he talks a lot especially when he is bored. Grabbing my bag I headed to the elevator, "Have a nice lunch." Macy beamed. "You too." The employees here seemed more relaxed now. And they seemed more sociable. Like they aren't afraid to communicate with each other anymore. Weird. Meeting Mr. Saunders down stairs who was holding Jack we head to the cafe he was talking about. Taking a seat next to the window we were greeted by a waitress with boobs and long legs. Damn blond girls. Why is it always them with big yahoos and legs that go on for miles. So not fair. Asians like me are just so tiny compared to others. "May I get you anything." She giggled while trying to wiggle her yahoos in Mr. Saunders face. Jack on the other hand was just full on staring as he suddenly grabbed the jiggling boobs. Hell it was practically almost falling out. "Jack." I scolded before the lady instantly smack his hand causing Jack to startle and cry. "Excuse me." I growled while picking up a sobbing Jack. "Your brat just touch me..." "If you dressed properly and appropriately then he wouldn't think they were his lunch now would he." Mr. Saunders gritted his teeth. I didn't know if I should feel embarrass by his statement or happy that he had stuck up for Jack, "And don't you even call him a brat again." Waving his hand, Mr. Saunders ordered for a new waiter of which this lady was now being reprimanded by her boss. Finally after ordering Mr. Saunders had pulled out a folder out of his suit and handed it to me, "What is this?" "Open it." He beamed. Pulling out its contents my eyes widen, it was a DNA result stating Mr. Saunders is the legal father of Jack. But how...Looking back at him he was sipping his coffee like this was all too normal for him. "You...you falsified this document." My voice now hushed. Who knows who could be listening. "I do not know what you are talking about honey." He teased me again in a much louder voice. "You do know this is illegal right." Forging a document is illegal and we could be charged. "If you are feeling guilty about this then why don't you tell them the truth and see what would happen to your son if you did." He was right and I hated it. As much as I hated this, the thought of loosing Jack had me going crazy. I hung my head low. "Don't be so down." "But what if we get caught." "We wont and if we do, you forget who I am, after all I am Mr. Dylan Saunders." He gave me a cocky smile. "Fine but if we get caught I'm pointing my fingers at you." "Duly noted. Now turn that in and everything will work out just fine. And in the end you get to keep Jack and get those social service off your back." Throughout lunch we had enjoyed each other's company. "The day after tomorrow, I have to go to a conference in New York." "How long will you be gone?" "Four days." I don't know why but I was sadden by this news. Four days without him. "Why the long face? Don't tell me you're going to miss me." He nudged my hand. "Hah! Who would miss an arrogant jerk." "Well this arrogant jerk is bringing his PA with him." "Me." "Well of course I told you my PA has to come with me to meetings and conferences." "What about Jack?" "Regrettable he can't come but I have a baby sitter on stand by." I only looked at him. He really planned everything. "And do I know this baby sitter." "You sure do. Remember that guy who came to your apartment in pink flip flops." I vaguely remember him but I know he would smile that would make any kid smile as well, "Him?" "Yes." "Are you sure?" "He has a daughter who is one year older than Jack. He is great with kids so I trust him." I don't know why but Mr. Saunders had been giving me butterflies as of late. It was something I wasn't use to which scared the hell out of me. My cell had rang in my pocket revealing Macy on the caller idea and the time, "Holy cow, we were here for three hours." I yelled. Mr. Saunders didn't phase one bit. It was like he knew and he didn't care. Jack on the other hand kept eating small deserts here and there and playing with his table toys. "Time flies by when you are having fun." Mr. Saunders nodded. "You were having fun? We were just eating and talking." "I know. I much enjoy our talks. I hadn't talked to any woman like this before well not in a long time." His voice sounded distant like he was reliving a past memory. "Everything all right Mr. Saunders." "Are we not friends?" He changed the subject. "Friends? Well we are boss and employee but I could be your friend." I think everyone needs a friend sometimes just to talk to or listen to when the world is on your shoulders. "Great," like a little kid he grinned, "It's Dylan when we are out of office and Bella, thank you for this." Bella? That's new. "You could just call me Bell, everyone does." "I know that's why I'm calling you Bella." Goose bumps was now prickling my skin, my heart thumping hard ready to jump out and my face was heating up. "You're blushing." Quickly I turned my cheek the other way. "Cute." He whispered but clearly I heard it all to well.
