Darkness.
My stomach felt weird and my chest too heavy. A flicker of light caught my eye. My feet wet as water pooled around my ankles. The water black as ink. Afraid to fall, I remained completely still looking down at the lake.
Why would there be water in the castle?
My own reflection stared back at me made my heart still, a face capturing my very essence. It wasn't Lisaandra's fiery greens looking back, it was me.
The real me.
The Lioness.
My blonde hair cut into a thick long bob that just brushed my shoulders. My blue eyes sparkled in the rippled reflection.
My mothers eyes.
Looking down at my arms, the scars had disappeared entirely and my skin shimmered with a tan. A golden brown glow similar to my fathers. What surprised me wlthe most were my lips.
