ABOUT THE BOOK The King’s Quest entails the story of the king of oteri-iyede who in quest of his successor sends his three princes on an adventurous test. This test reveals what it means to choose a leader as well as what it truly means to be a leader. Foreward. I commend the author for his foresight and Vision in writing such a realistic book that makes explicit and vivid the fact that “Humility is the mother of all virtues”. The book, though written by an SS3 students is well organised and articulated both in content and form. This story is splendid, imaginative and reflect pragmatic illustration of the kind of problem faced in the royalty of our various communities. The topic is well selected and it is a great start for a beginner and young writer. I therefore recommend the book for students, teachers and parents as well as all those who aspire to be future leaders in our society. Dr. Onovughe U. F Principal, Otovwodo Grammar school Otovwodo, Ughelli. There is a way our African heritage promotes pride and superiority. We are taught from birth to carry ourselves with dignity and pride, but it often results in ego. Pride is lethal, pride often hides. The only antidote to pride is humility. Prosper has so craftily explored the meaning of pride and the exuberance of humility. In a world where pride is exalted and humility bastardized, I am proud to see a young, eager boy take up the challenge to prove that humility is the hinge on which our destinies open and move forward. With that said, when Prosper asked me to write the foreword of his book, I was flabbergasted and humbled. I was honored! As I flipped through the pages of his hard work, awe filled my heart. I had been doing a study on humility and stewardship. This was the universe proving me wrong and showing me that living large yet humble was possible, it just took practice. As Prosper’s coach and mentor, this book is a gem, I value it and the writer dearly. Karen Kiarié. CEO The Exotic. They Say Networking is powerful!
