ISABELLA’S P.O.V.
It was clear that Lorenzo still didn’t know it all and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to or was willing to give him the full picture. There was too much to explain and he needed to see the evidence for himself- evidence that I didn’t have. Almost as if he could see the wheels turning in my head, he grabbed my arm and pulled me closer so that I was face-to-face with him.
“Do not lie to me,” he warned. “I deserve an ounce of your honesty after everything you put me through to get you back. You can either tell me the truth or I will throw you back out there. I am not going to shoulder your problems unless I know exactly what they are.”
