HIS ANGER - 3

605 Words
"Little god, it really is difficult, or probably my father is just being too rough on me." Nate said and pouted, thinking about how his father kept hitting him with the wooden sword. He almost gave up on learning those damn sword fighting skills. " No he wasn't. You're just lazy, you've always been, and all you're good at is smelling distant food." Lucian spoke back with a devilish smirk on his face while Anna chuckled " Little god you really look so adorable with that smirk on your face"-Nate said, looking at Lucian like some love struck fool. Anna couldnt hold it any longer as she burst into laughter. Lucian, seeing his mother laugh, felt embarrassed and hence threw a pouch at Nate, which the fellow couldn't dodge, clearly not expecting something like that. " ouch... little god you just broke my cute nose." Nate said whining. " Didn't you learn how to dodge during your fighting lessons yesterday?" Lucian asked feeling sorry, he didn't really mean to hit him, its just that this friend of his was too annoying." Lucian! You don't hit people like that. You might hurt them." Anna said sternly. " apologise to your friend." " I am sorry, but .. but don't call me adorable", Lucian told his friend.. In his head, only his mother and grandmother could call him that way. "Aunt Ann, you don't have to worry, its actually an honour to be hit by a god", Nate said, rendering both Anna and Lucian speechless. " Now, little god, judging from the power of this pouch, you're too weak, lets go out while i groom you into sword fighting" Nate said with the face that said ' i am stronger and better than you, i can help you out of your misery' . lucian felt flabagasted, wasn't it just yesterday he started learning sword fighting? why did he look like he was the one teaching his father instead and not the other way round. Nate ignored the flabberated look on Lucian's face and dragged him out of the house. " I hope you can keep up." Nate said " Of course I can,. I am not that blind", Lucian said enthusiastically. Hearing this, Nate smiled. He had never believed Lucian was blind, there was no way a blind person could move the way Lucian did. He had a blind grandmother in his house and, compared to her, Lucian was just like any other normal person who couldn't see slightly clearly. Nate dragged Lucian a little deeper into the forest, " where are you sending me to? You started learning sword fighting yesterday. What could you have possibly acquired from that to be able to teach me?" Lucian asked, totally unable to stand his friend's stupidity. " Whatever I have learnt. I will teach you every single day whichever skill I acquire, until we're both perfect." Lucian felt touched hearing his friend. People gave up and ignored him, but this silly boy wouldn't. " Here we are," Nate said, finally letting go of Lucian's hand. Lucian looked around. He couldn't see but from the rattling noise of leaves and the dense golden mist he saw around him, he knew they were in the forest. Only the living things had a strong and lively golden mist around them. ". Why here, you know its not that safe". He wasn't scared, but he didn't want anything happening to his friend either. " If we practised at your place, people would notice and report to my dad. I might not be able to see you again after that".
