Thorwerene's mind was racing with questions. What did the stranger want? Why they connected to the curse? He knew he had to confront the stranger, to demand answers. He found them in the old windmill on the outskirts of town, their eyes gleaming in the dim light. "You know, don't you?" Thorne accused, his voice shaking with anger. "You know about the curse, about my family's legacy." The stranger nodded, their expression unreadable. "I know everything, Thorne. And I'm here to help you break the curse." Thorne snorted. "Why would you help me? What's in it for you?" The stranger's smile was enigmatic. "Let's just say I have a vested interest in seeing the curse lifted. My family was once a part of it, too." Thorne's eyes widened in shock. "Your family? What do you mean?" The stranger's eyes seemed to bore into his soul. "My family was the one who cast the curse, Thorne. And I'm the last living heir." Thorne's world was turned upside down. The stranger was connected to the curse in ways he never imagined My family was once a part of it, too, entwined in a web of deceit and dark magic, forever bound to Raven's wood's fate.
