The three Hummers pulled into the little sleepy town in Maine and it was early morning. The birds has just started chripping and the chill of the night hadn't been chased away by the warm summer sun.
They all recognized the stop with the stacked houses in the back and the tall birch trees along the rivers edge. Alpha Giest was in the first Hummer and got out and started walking toward the other two trucks as they put their cars in park and exited thier own cars taking a moment to strech thier legs.
Katrina was driving the car that her crew was riding and Ace was driving the third car. She smiled at Giest as she walked up to him "We are here. It feels like I know this place." She could feel something pulling her. She suddenly felt like she needed to go it alone. She knew she couldn't, she hardly knew what she was doing. The back up was necessary.
Katrina stood there in a pair of black yoga pants, white and black Adidas with a black light long sleeve shirt. her Auburn hair was in a braid down her back with little tenderlings dancing around the frame of her face so she didn't look bald.
Josh's huge frame stood next to her making her look very small but she wasn't at 5' 10". His steel blue eyes looked her up and down possessively like any normal werewolf does to his mate. "We are here." He took in a deep breath and the scent danced in his nose. River, birch, early summer flowers blooming and wet rocks. Something here made him feel welcome. "Wow, nice place."
Alpha Geist looked around and agreed as they all gathered around. Most of them wearing jeans and tshirts.
"Okay, I am pretty sure the enterance is around here. It will look different but only slightly. When I jumped into the clouds my only indication was that the clouds were flowing or shifting differently than the clouds around it." Katrina explained.
"Okay, lets go find find it and then we will meet back here and discuss our approach. We have no idea what is waiting on the other side for us. We can only assume that it is guarded or has some type of warning mechanism." Alpha Giest said with his commanding voice. Everyone agreed and split off into groups of 2 and three.
Rhonda and Mark started to walk down to the rivers edge. It was still wet from dew and steep. Sure footed they braved it anyway. Rhonda was looking around thinking how beautiful this place was. With the tall trees, the smell of pine in the air, the chill. It was so different from Georgia with it's stiffling humidity. "I love this place. It feels so good. It's like hugging me." She hugged herself as she said it with her bright blue eyes dancing around like a kid in a candy shop not really knowing where to look but wanting to look everywhere at the same time.
Mark smiled to himself as he walked behind her. She was so innoccent on the outside but on the inside she was a dirty vixxen who made him beg for mercy sometimes. He loved having a mate. He had never thought of having s*x ever and now it was front and center almost every day with everything they do. Even this, something that is so important and all he wants to do is lay her down and tease her with the tip of his hard c**k and make her beg for more. He loves it when she begs for him. Just at that thought she slipped and slid down and almost into the river.
With his heart beating wildly in his chest he jumped down to save her and that's when they both stopped and just looked at what was in front of them. "I think we found it." Mark whispered.
They were looking down river toward the bridge. Under the bridge the river just seemed to end and dump into a huge black hole. Some of the water was directed around it but you couldn't tell by what. It was just like there was a perfect circle directly under the bridge where the water disappeared. You didn't hear it fall, in fact there was no noise at all.
"Do you think you are first ones to come looking for this?" A stranger was standing behind them, his voice was ruff and his look was even rougher. He stepped forward and Mark stood between him and Rhonda. "Oh, you think you can protect your little mate do ya?" He had an evil smell about him, rotten. "The old 'I will die before you touch my mate' stance. Well let me tell you something young man. You ain't dying but you are going to watch me as I touch your mate. In ways you never even dreamed of." He laughed and his teeth were half gone because they were rotting away. He had a big boil on the side of his face that looked it like was going burst any moment with white puss swirling just below the surface. Then it was like he almost shifted personalities, his face changed, his voice changed and his demanor changed. The corners of his mouth rounded and there was fear in his eyes. "Run guys, run!" Just as fast as he said the words the evil grew back on his face and lunged at Mark while he was pulling something out of his pocket.
Mark was not going to back down he looked over his shoulder "Run Rhonda." Then he turned back toward this rotting stranger and lunged toward him as this stranger blew a dust in his face. Suddenly it was like the whole world was stopped. He could not move and his momentum threw his body on the ground with a very loud thud. He was totally aware of everything, he could hear and see everything but he could not move or speak. He heard some rustling and he heard Rhonda with a muffled scream as he caught her. Mark mind linked Josh but he wasn't sure if he got through.
Suddenly his body was moving and this stranger set him on the enbankment of the river and then hauled Rhonda in front of him. She was under the same spell and seemed unable to move. He was pulling her by her hair past him. Mark could see the fear in her eyes and it was breaking him in two.
"There, this should be a good view for you. Now just one last thing. We need some camoflaugh. We don't need your snoopy friends to come find us in the middle of a fun game. A game I call, poke the mate." He got his face really close to Marks' face to where he could smell his rotten breath. "Don't worry, I won't let you miss a thing." He laughed as he walked back to Rhonda standing her up. "Help me out here pretty one." He licked her cheek as she could do nothing about it. Then he pulled away "Oooo you are gonna taste so good." He spread his arms and you could feel a shift as his magic barrier hide them from the world. "There. Now it's just us." He looked back at Rhonda. "You don't have to pretend to be scared pretty girl. You are gonna like it, I promise." He pulled her hair forcing her chest forward and he reached up and ripped her shirt mostly open exposing her bra. He caressed her breast over her bra and then reached in the bra ripping it off her exposing both breasts. Her breath was hard and labored and Mark was dying inside. "There, now they can breath." He bent down and bit one of her n*****s making it bleed. "Prefectly supple and young. I love 'em like this." He smiled over at Mark with an evil smile "Don't you. Or should I say didn't you?" The he slapped the bleeding breast hard leaving a hand mark. "I think I am going to f**k these first. Would you like to see how your mates likes to get titty f****d by me?" He threw her down face first.
He walked around her like a cat going in for the kill. He was teasing them, he loved to watch them struggle like this. It was why he still existed. He was the guardian of the enterance and took on bodies until they rotted away from his evil presence inside them. He was one of the first Evil Wolf Spirits to escape to the other side.
Suddenly he felt a punch between his shoulder blades and he went flying into the river. Nakita found them and charged in accordingly. She had a staph with her and she quickly pointed to Mark and Rhonda who were then free to move.
Nakita walked into the river and held him under the water somehow knowing that the demon spirit could not escape a water death. He fought hard as he flailed in the water but he was no match for one angry Nakita. Her arm never waivered and she held him there long after he quit moving.
Mark rushed to Rhonda and picked her up. She was crying and he pulled her shirt together covering her as she sat up. He could see the blood from the bite bleeding through her shirt. He had never felt so helpless in all his life. His heart was breaking for her as he felt her anguish through the bond. "Hey, hey, hey none of this was your fault." He pulled her into his arm and was relieved to feel her relax.
"I should've ran like you said." She said as cried. "I shou...shou...should've just ran like you said."
"It's not in our nature to abandon our mates in situations like this. That is what makes us strong but also makes us vulnerable." She heard her grandfather say. "He knew it and used it against you." Giest was heartbroken to see his spirited little granddaughter so distraught and hurt. "Now, stand up young lady. You are not going to let this get the best of you. You stop crying, you get a new shirt and you be thankful he is dead." He said in his alpha voice knowing that was what she needed.
She nodded her head in agreement, took Marks arm to stand up, took a deep breath pulling her shirt closed and then turned and looked at him face down in the water where Nakita stood over him still holding him down. "Thank you." She nodded to Nakita who nodded back. "Lets go get me some new cloths." She walked back up the river embankment, back toward her car. She was leaving it all there, every feeling he made her feel. It slipped away like water on a ducks back as she walked away.
