Dawn Will Come
Katrina felt sick to her stomach waking up to vomitting on the forest floor. Her head hurt, her shoulder hurt but mostly her leg hurt. She looked down to see her leg turned backwards and her knee out of joint. She felt the nause rise again as she realized what she was looking at. Her broken ribs screamed with the pain of the hev from the nausea making her want to quit vomitting immediately. She took a few shallow breaths and realized that the sun was coming out over the horizon and the birds were chirping their morning songs around her. She pulled herself to a sitting position with a grimmace but refused to scream. She had no idea what had happened after she put the chip in its place.
