Both of them drove in silence for a bit realizing they had at least a million dollars in gold.
Josh suddenly felt like they were way over thier heads. "Is there any note or anything else in the box?"
Nicole removed a few of the thin bars to look and see if she could see anything. Then when she went to put the lid back on she noticed some writing on the inside.
It read:

She read it to Josh. "I wonder if he called me Nicky Bicky just for this reason. So I would KNOW it was him. I don't know how I feel about that."
"You've had quite the emotional ride these last few weeks. I am sure glad I was one of them. I will not leave you to do this on your own." Josh took her hand in his.
"I hope so. I sure was cold without you."
"Cold? As in physically cold?" Josh had felt the same way. Maybe it's how mates feel when they are apart although he had never heard of that before.
"All kinds of cold way down into my soul cold. I heard a voice that wasn't mine telling me we are soul mates not just mates." She paused and thought it can't hurt to ask. "Do you hear other voices?"
"Just Trenton. Our wolves are like a second conciuos guiding us on our way. He knew you were our mate before I did." Josh smiled over at her.
"So could that have been my wolf?"
"If you are Lycan then you may have heard your Lycan. Lycan are different from wolves in the fact that they are very powerful in mind and body. They look different too. It's hard to tell the difference between urban lengend and the real deal since we are taught almost nothing about Lycans."
"I wonder why."
"I wish I knew." Something about that didn't feel right to Josh suddenly. His phone buzzed again. It was Mark.
"Hello" Josh decided to answer it because it was the 3rd time he called.
"Hey, Dude, You......." The phone went dead. Mark sounded different to Josh. He tried calling him back and it went straight to voicemail.
Josh hung his phone up figuring he was too far for a cell signal. They stopped for dinner and she was starting to open up to him. He loved the way she smiled and how her hair just flowed with her. He was sure he was starting to fall in love with her. He had never felt this way about Julia. They discussed where the gold might have come from.
"How did he know where I would be? Gosh when I think about this entire thing it just scares me that I had no idea." She sounded sad to him and he felt her confusion through the bond. She looked down at her salad and stabbed her food aggressively.
"Hey, you were never suppose to know until now. How would he have been able to hide you if you had known. Beside this way is much more fun. A surprise at every turn. At least now you are rich and surprised. " Josh was trying to make her feel better. She gave him a smile but he knew she was still struggling.
He slid out of his side of the booth and next to her brining his burger and fries with him. "Hey, wanna know a werewolf secret?" He looked around making sure nobody could hear him.
She nodded with a smile on her face. "We love to kiss our mates and make out with them. It helps us share our energy and make bad feeling go away." His lips were very close to her ear and his breath caressed her neck giving her goose bumps. "Feel this." He gently kissed her neck and she felt things that she had never felt before. She could feel herself getting aroused. She looked at him smiling.
"Well, we can always try it out. We aren't in any hurry." He just really felt that she needed him close. He pulled away from her to eat his burger.
She suddenly felt cold having him too far way. She wanted to feel his skin on hers, his breath mixing with hers. She could barely hold in back. She had never even kissed another boy before and now she was having all these devous thoughts on what she wanted to do to and with him. She decided that two could play at this game.
Her hand found his leg and slowly made it's way up his leg. She noticed that he didn't eat any more burger and he closed his eyes just taking in her touch. She leaned into him bringing her lips almost touching his ear "I have never even kissed a boy and the things I am thinking right now are sultry." She blew ever so gently on his neck and she could feel him getting aroused. He was just so beautiful to her she couldn't believe that she had this type of an effect on him.
"Excuse me. Check and boxes please." He caught the waitresses attention.
"Please stop now or I won't make it out of this restaurant." He smiled at her.
In less than 5 min they were walking out to his truck. They both slid in the front seat and Josh was so excited and Trenton was doing flips. He wanted to mark her so bad.
Josh drove them some place a bit quieter and shut the truck off. Nicole seemed bit nervous when he looked over at her. He put his arm out and invited her over. "You are my girl and you belong next to me."
Nicole wanted so badly to be close to him and the second she got in his arms are her nerves were calmed and desire filled the void. His lips danced on hers like they'd done it a million times. Their body got close as he pulled her closer. Her skin was burning with desire wanting to touch him.

He saw something change in her eyes as she sat up looking like she wanted to eat him. Her eyes were much darker and suddenly had the feeling he wasn't dealing with Nicole. "I will mark you now." Her English was broken with a heavy Russian accent. She straddled him and then her hands turned to veltvet as she touched his face "my beautiful mate."
