Anne POV
After getting rid of Chris, I finally got home.
After taking a hot bath, I sat quietly on the bed in a daze. There are so many things that happened on this day, I need to digest them. First Chris cheated on me, then I slept with a strange man. Thinking of strangers made me feel a dull pain between my legs. That damned stranger, his physical strength is really good, tossing me until midnight. I almost fainted every time, but he still seemed to have more to say.
It's crazy that I'm attracted to a stranger after Chris just cheated on me.
"Wait for a minute man, I don't know if we're getting protection. I can't get pregnant." Thought of strangers looking crazy, every time they came inside me, and we started when we got home, it seemed like nothing had any safeguards.
"No, I can't get pregnant, I can't give birth to a man I don't know." I was an orphan, and I didn't know who my parents were since I was a child. I cannot let my child be born without a father.
There must be no surprises. I've made one mistake and decided I can't make a second one. So I hurried to the pharmacy downstairs to buy emergency contraceptives.
After taking the medicine, I began to calmly think about my relationship with Chris.
Although we have been in love for five years, although we have always seemed to be in love, Chris seems to have a clue.
In the past, when he got off work, he would always cling to me, wanting to be with me all the time. In recent months, every time I called him, he always used over time as an excuse. It seemed that he had already started hooking up with that woman. Blame me for being so stupid for not noticing this sooner. Thinking of this, my heart is aching again, and the bits and pieces of the past five years are constantly reappearing in my mind.
Even though Chris was a jerk, my heart aches for our five-year relationship. I couldn't resist calling Mia, my best friend.
"Honey, miss me early in the morning." Mia's energetic voice came from the other end of the phone. Hearing her voice, I couldn't hold back my tears anymore and started to cry bitterly.
"Annie, what's the matter? Did you quarrel with Chris? Did that bastard bully you?"
"Mia, Chris, and I are done, we broke up."
"What happened? Why did you break up suddenly?"
"I caught him cheating."
"That bastard, that son of a b***h. I'm going to chop off his p***s," Mia yelled.
"Annie, are you home?"
"Yes, Mia."
"Wait for me at home, I'll be right there."

"Annie, are you okay?" Mia had the key to my house, opened the door, and walked in.
After I finished talking to Mia about what happened yesterday, Mia's full attention turned out to be on that stranger.
"You mean, you slept with a handsome stranger for the night. You're absolutely wonderful, Annie. Chris, that bastard, doesn't deserve your heartbreak."
"Mia, please, I hope you are here to comfort me, not to inquire about gossip."
"Okay, Anne. I have to say, although you and Chris have been together for five years, you have paid too much for him in these five years. You originally succeeded in obtaining a college diploma through your own efforts, but you quit your job for Chris and were willing to be a housewife for five years."
"Men are scumbags them. The better you treat them, the less satisfied he is. Look at yourself, since you quit your job, your focus has been on him. Now you're finally done with this bastard. You should keep going out to Work. You used to work, but you were radiant. Chris was also fascinated by you at work."
Mia was right, Chris and I met at a business reception, and the next day he started a wild pursuit of me. Mia is right, I have lost myself for the past 5 years because of Chris. I'm going to get back to the old me now, me before I met Chris.
"Mia, you are my star, I love you. You always comfort me and give me advice when I'm down. I've decided to start looking for a job tomorrow."
"Annie, you're amazing. Kick Chris and you'll find someone more handsome. I love you, my sister, and I'm proud of you."
