Aria “Is that him?” Ellen asks before I can reply when Evan runs towards the car. “Ellen, wait,” I try to stop her when she unlocks the door and gets out. With a huff, I scurry after her. I do not think it is a clever idea for Evan to call her grandma. It will only confuse him. I am helpless as Evan runs into my arms and I hold him impossible close to me. All I want to do is keep him from harm.
