Chaos erupts as Kyle and Caleb toss Robert’s body into the fire. Guards attack us from all sides. Kyle stands his ground in front of Suzie like a shield.
“Claudette, protect Suzie,” Aria shouts as she shifts and leaps towards a guard. She bites into his shoulder and swings him into the fire.
I know we can easily kill off everyone, but Vegavino is still fresh in my mind. None of us wants to relive that. So, I put my fingers in my mouth and give a loud whistle. Soon the ground vibrates. Aria looks up and nods in approval as she takes only a second to watch Karl’s pack storm towards us.
“Come here,” I shout and join the fight as I grab a vampire from behind and swiftly kill him.
The fight lasts only a few minutes when the pack of wolves arrive, and I stand back to watch the scene
