Aria
I am awake and out of bed before the sun. I stretch lazily and get out of bed without waking Caleb. Quietly I walk to the balcony to watch the sunrise over the lake. A movement catches my eye, and I am surprised to see Suzie walk towards the lake.
I turn around and quickly pull on pants and a t-shirt before rushing over the Suzie. Now would be the perfect time to talk to her. It is entertaining to watch her and Kyle quibble but if there is one person that understands how she feels, it is me.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” I ask softly as I go stand next to her.
“This is perfection,” she smiles dreamily. “If I had this view, I would never be stressed out.”
“Until you turn around and face reality,” I give her a knowing look.
