The Master Chef & The Lion

Asiah wakes up. She is very disgusted with herself realizing what had happened last night, Flin have claimed all of her sides and theirs only one left, her heart. She has to be very careful now she must save herself before everything would be too late. She get up and manage to bring herself in the bath room even if she is sore  below. After taking a bath she called Aunt Mina if she could bring a hydrogen peroxide for her to clean her wrist it was severely wounded by handcuffing her tightly last night. She must carry out his plan as soon as possible or else she would be totally devastated. She missed her normal life back. It was full of hardship but that’s what makes her more willing to strive more and enter showbiz. She must reach her aim to reach the top and help her mom back. She have seen her hardship in her entire life so when she was little she didn’t complain to her mother even her shoes and her uniform are old the most important thing for her is to attend school everyday even she don’t have money to buy cookies and candies for herself. During lunch break she just have rice and she manage to eat in the bathroom or hide to everybody because she don’t want to be bullied by just eating rice. She was so skinny during her elementary days after school she walks home everyday early to help her mother take care of their little farm. She entered high school because she maintained a very high grades, she manage to keep her self ranked number one in all section during her senior high. During Sundays and Saturdays she will be seen in the wet market helping her mother sell their vegetables. When she finish senior high one of the prestigious university in her country offered her scholarship she entered Ateneo De Manila University. It was very hard for her to leave her family behind but she have to. She meet her best friend Rosha in her first day of class. Months went by and her career slowly started with the help of her best friend. And she promised her self someday she will be out of this  industry and start to build her own empire little by little. She was disturb imagining her past when she heard a knock in the door.

"Aunt Mina thank you for everything." She said while busy attending her own wounds.

"Don’t worry its just a small favor. Master Flin called me last night to bring a basin and a towel. Is there something bad happened to you last night, how’s your feeling now?"

After hearing what Aunt Mina said she sighed at least Flin did not allow Aunt Mina to see her in a messy state.

"I’m all ok now Aunty don't worry about me. Can you please call Flin for me i want to talk to him."

Aunt Mina nodded and dialed Flin's digits after talking to him and pass the phone to her.

"Speak!" Flin said in the other side.

"Could I please at least go out from this room I promise ill obey you. I’m totally bored in here if you want I will cook dinner for you."

She did not hear any response from the other side. "I promise I will just stay inside the house."

"Give the phone to Mina" Flins replied.  She give back the phone to Mina. She sighed for she know her request will not be granted.  "Yes Master" she heard Mina answered.

"Master told me that you can go out from this room but your not allowed to go outside. He said will be following you with Her and She." Mina said happily to her.

Asiah's mode become bright as she hear what Mina told her. She hugged her tightly "thanks Aunty".

The security outside open the door and they walked away.

"Do you know what, its the very first time  Master granted a request from a woman. Ive been with him for quiet so long and its the very first time that she cared for a woman." Mina told her.

"Aunty he is just scared that i would run away from him. And your Master dont know how to care for others he just love his ego."

Asiah said.

At exactly 3:00 pm. Asiah moved to the kitchen and introduce herself to the chef.  She prepared all the ingredients for her recipe. She started to prepare her beef wellington. She start by making a broth out of roasted beef bones. Next, she make puffed pastry, which is a laminated dough. The chef is watching her in a shock expression. Then she make duxelles she mix the chopped mushrooms, shallots, herbs, and lots of butter. Then she  take the beef tenderloin, which she has refrigerated, patted dry, and seasoned, sear it on all sides in butter, and then she let it cool then she wrap the crepes completely around the beef tenderloin. Then she take the chilled puffed pastry, she roll it out and wrap it around the crepe-wrapped tenderloin then she roast it in the oven. After finishing her first recipe she smiled at the chef.

The chef is still in the side wondering how could this girl know such hard recipe to prepare.

She then started to prepare to cook her chicken adobo this iconic Filipino dish features tender chicken braised with soy sauce, onions, pepper, laurel and garlic in a vinegar and she add the potato and carrot.

Her very last recipe is her favorite a classic hearty Korean stew made with meaty pork neck, potatoes, and nutty perilla seeds. At 6:00 pm she is done cooking. And ask the three girls to help her prepare the dining table.

Her  started to talk in disbelieve "where did you learn all this recipe"

"This is my father's favorite food. I must learn how to cook it no matter how hard it is to prepare" While holding the plate of beef wellington. "Then the chicken adobo is my mother favorite food while this third one is my most loved food." She said smiling  at them. While talking with the three ladies Flin arrived and she stop talking. 

Asiah is in the side watching and waiting for Flin's reaction while eating  but she was very disappointed she got none. After a moment Liven arrived.

"What’s all this food" Levin exclaimed while beaming at the dining table.

"Nothing so special come take a sit eat with your master" she smiled to Levin then she picked some strands of her hair and clipped it in the back of her ear while pulling a chair for him. She also put a slice of beef wellington and give it to Levin.

On the other side Flin smashed the fork and spoon on the table. He stands up and punch the glass wall with full force shattering it into pieces. All the people in the dining table was  shocked. Asiah immediately ask them for a medicine kit she was worried about Flin even if she hate him so much she is still concern for him. While holding the kit she fallowed him upstairs to his study room. When Asiah entered the room Flin is like crazy pulling his hair while his hands is bleeding. He is looking at her very striking. "What’s the matter with if you don’t like the food you don’t have to hurt yourself. You are very crazy man. Give me your hand."  He is still looking at her very angry.

"You don’t have to look at me like that I’m scared. Now give me your hand!" He is still not willing so she pulled his hand. "This will be painful i need  first to wash your hand with alcohol."

She wash her own hands with alcohol before attending the bloody hand of Flin. She start to wash Flin's wounds then wash it again with alcohol as usual there is no reaction from him rather he is looking at her intently. She ignored him "don’t act like your the strongest man in the world." Then she blew his wounds at least to ease the pain after pouring alcohol. She check if there might be debris of small glass entered his wounds but none so far. She picked one cotton using a tweezer she applied iodine to his wound and wrapped it with a gauze.

"From now on you are not be allowed to talk  to Levin."

"What? Are you out of your mind." She cant believe this man is talking nonsense and she is getting pissed. She looks into his eyes she can see fire burning  ready to explode and burn everyone in a minute. She sighed, fighting with him is nonsense its just a waste of time. After giving him antibiotics she fix the medicines  and put it back in the kit and move away. This man is really out of his mind how could he request such thing as that, its pointless.

Flin is still so angry after Asiah left the room without answering him. Don’t she know that he  cancelled his meeting with the board of directors just so he can get home before six. He was to excited to know how good is the cooking skill of her barbie doll and he is impressed he loved the taste of the food she prepared it was all excellent, Its exquisite texture and the aroma that melts in his mouth. He wants all the food she prepared only for him alone and he don’t like sharing it with anybody. Then he get so mad looking at her barbie doll flirting with Levin she even pulled a chair and put a slice of food in Levin’s plate. He got so mad thinking of the situation and he don’t like the idea of Asiah may like Levin. While telling her that she is not allowed to talk to Levin a while ago Asiah got so angry and just leave without answering him. She dares to disobey him again because of Levin.

Asiah is so pissed of that monster she is annoyed of him.  She is preparing her self to sleep when she heard Aunt Mina is crying running towards her. " what’s wrong Aunty, why are you crying?"

"Asiah please help us Master is in the study room he is so mad we tried with the security to calm him but he pointed a gun towards us its been long since we seen him like that could you try to help us."

"Stop crying now Aunty." She wears a robe and directly went in to his study room. When she arrived she was surprised that the room was totally messy books was scattered all around everything was broken  like a typhoon had just pass by. She manage to enter and told the security, Mina and company if they could leave them for a while and she slowly closed the door as they leave. She can smell a strong scent of alcohol. She was so scared, what’s the matter with him she just leave him three hours ago. He was standing in the very far end corner holding the gun while smashing it in the wall. He couldn’t believe that he can be this devastated.

My body shivered as I look at his expression. His whole aura is burning like his a lion ready to eat me. I uttered some prayer calling all the saints to help me. I look into his eyes somewhat I can read a grieve in them. He was still standing looking at me

"Who told you to come here?" His voice is so dangerous, he's walking closer to me while holding the gone. There is no turning back now. I step closer to him slowly I’m so afraid of the gun, a single mistake would be a big disaster. I am very close to him and I can smell the strong scent of alcohol. "If you want to drink next time call me, drinking alone is not fun" I said in my most attractive voice. I embraced him tightly "what’s wrong with you today? Don’t you know you are very handsome so don’t  to ruin yourself like this." I move my hands in his nice back. "Levin in every problem there’s a solution you don’t have to do like this." I whispered in his ears very near to his neck then my lips touch his neck, I’m sliding my hands into his arms which is holding the gun as I’m about to get the gun in his hand he  firmly hold it tightly and his other arms holds my back pulling me closer to him. "Do you think you can fool me again my barbie girl how much do you want this gun" then he slide it in my cheek down to my breast down to my legs. 'Oh s**t this is so scary' I told my brain his trying to part my both legs using the gun. I slide my finger into his neck. "Please Flin you don’t have to do like this please drop the gun."

"You are all mine, right?" While he is kissing my neck.

This is not a joke anymore i must do something to get the gun. "I am totally yours"

"Your really pissing me right my barbie girl". He is totally mad and he pulled the trigger. The sounds totally echoed in the whole room. The security and the ladies outside can not hear any sound for the room is soundproof. Asiah inside fall into her knees. All her senses are all numb. Tears start to fall in her beautiful eyes.
