CHAPTER 10-AURORA'S POV

I never thought Hero and Chris would be joining us tonight. But here we are sitting in their car and are on our way to club. Whenever i create distance between him and me so i could avoid my emotions but we always get stuck together.Its not like i don't like him, its the oppsite that horrifies me and the thought makes me uncomfortable that i might like having him around. Chris seemed nice too but i could see he has his eyes only for Nikki, for which i am really happy. Nikki also likes his having his attention on her, its in the way her eyes shine everytime they talk . Not only Chris is interested ,it looks like its two way and hopefully we would see chemistry and spark between them. Also me and Nikki are gonna have a long chat tonight which only makes me giggle thinking of all the things i know she will say when i'd tell her how i am going to play match maker. Hearing my giggle all eyes turned to me in questioning i only shrugged for response to which Nikki narrowed her eyes , she knows something is cooking in my head, to which i winked her way.
Hero was looking to the entire interaction with curiosity and was thinking what was going on. I gave him the long look to convey that i will tell him later, afterall Chris is his best friend and he would be of great help to set them both up. That way some good will happen tonight, now i was looking forward toward this night.
When we entered the club,the whole club was vibing and vibrating beneath our shoes. The party was already on, the music was loud and drinks were flowing and people were all dancing on the dance floor.
"Lets go and sit in the booth"said Chris, we all agreed and followed him to the booth. We all took our seats, me ,Nikki and Ari sat on one side and Chris and Hero on the another, but Hero and Chris were sitting in front of me and Nikki respectively. I took the seat open on one end so i could move out easily."How you wanna start this party?" Hero asked." With drinks of course" i replied. "You drink?" He asked me with a little bit of surprise. " I don't usually but when i am in a club or bar i try some, what can i say every girl has her moment" to which all the people in the booth laughed . But lemme tell you when Hero laughs he surely light up the room, his voice turn rich and silky. I can really hear him laugh all day , he is this much mesmerising and I'd love to make him laugh. Ugh these feelings are so confusing, what is really wrong with me and to avoid these kind of thoughts, i now need a drink. I don't know how he understood that i needed that, he immediately raised his hand to get the attention of the waitress. To which one came quickly , i must give it to her that she was cute in a tight dress and blonde hair, when she neared our table she asked us what we wanted " I want two s*x on the beach.. cocktail "i said to which Hero coughed, getting my double innuendo and i just slyly smirked his way and he narrowed his eyes."Well i changed my mind i want two margaritas now" i said shrugging, "make it four me and Ari will have the same too" Nikki added, " And we will have two bourbons" Hero added giving Chris's order too. "Anything else you want, I'm here to help" waitress asked Hero batting her eyelashes , it was clear she was flirting with him, who wouldn't any warm blooded female species would do the same because the guy sitting with us is the epitome of male species. "No that's all for now,if we want something else we will let you know,thank you", Hero dismissed her without giving her his time of day and said so looking directly at me , his gaze was so intense that i had to lower my eyes. Maybe he wanted to see my experience while that waitress shamelessly flirted with him. I'm not jealous j wanted to say but that would be a straight lie, so i kept my mouth shut. When she knew he wasn't going to talk to her she returned to get our drinks. "What are your plans after college?"i asked Hero ,"For sure i will play pro" he said,"cocky enough?" I asked, "no confident enough." He replied. "Well according to me its cockiness , i don't know where u got that notion but i think what u need is a reality check every now and then, don't you think, it'll definitely help you to stay grounded" i replied. "You really like to bust my balls, you are enjoying every second of it, don't you?"he asked smirking my way and everyone laughed so i nodded my yes with a cheezy smile. Well he was right i like to push his buttons but instead of taking offense he likes it actually. I can't help it that he has such magnetic personality that even i can't resist him, but i know i have to because he is a vast ocean and if i gave into this pull i will lose myself and for my sake only i have to resist it.
