CHAPTER 12-AURORA'S POV

What the hell just happened ,one minute i was dancing with my girls, next minute there was a guy laying flat in front me. This all happened so fast that it was hard to keep record of what just happened in this couple of minutes.As far as i recall ,at first the girls wanted to go to the bar cuz they were feeling thirsty and asked me go with them but i refused them as i wanted to dance more so i told them to go , then some guy wanted to dance with me which i refused but he started to get handy and started to touch me while i shoved him with all my might, but he didn't bulged an inch. The next thing i remember is that there was a bone cracking sound. "Are you okay?" Called someone from my right side to which i only nodded cuz i needed few minutes to collect my thoughts and process all of this." Yeah , I'm fine" i replied without looking at him and only looked toward where the guy layed holding his bleeding nose. "I'm here if you need anything, but i think it'll be better if you go to your friends, if they are here". "Yes, i am here now, let's go Auro and thank you for the help Noah". Said a familiar voice that always help relaxing my nerves, when i turned slightly Hero was standing there looking pissed. Wait the guy who helped me had a name"Thank you for you help,sorry for any inconvenience i caused you" I said apologetically to Noah, "And let's go , i wanna go home, can you please tell Ari and Nikki to stay cuz i don't want to spoil their night , they are actually having fun tonight ?" I asked Hero , to which he nodded amd took my hand in his possessively and led me to the bar where Chris, Ari and Nikki were sitting. " We are leaving guys, see you later and enjoy the rest of the night". Hero said,"You don't have to leave i can call uber " i whispered him not wanting to be heard by others. He only shook his head no and told me that he was going to take me home and want to make sure that i get there safe. He said with so much authority that I'd be otherwise annoyed but right now it feels good so i agreed to him. He was still holding my hands , thankfully no one noticed it while we were standing at the bar otherwise I'd to answer their questions for which i wasn't in mood for. We silently made our way to the exit and we waited for the uber that he called . Then we got into the car and we took off. I was lucky he didn't asked me anything on our way but holded my hand for support he was silently offering. Him holding my hand felt so good that i kept it there and tried to collect my thoughts, the night was going so good then this happened, its not a big deal and i certainly won't make it one.
When we left the car then only i slipped my hand from his but it was only for a minute cuz he immediately took mine again and led me toward my door which i unlocked. I entered the dorm while he stood there at the entrance, he wasn't coming in so i invited him and "do you want anything to drink"i asked him,"yes water please" he replied. I went to the kitchen and took out two glasses and filled them with water and handed one to him."Thank you for tonight" i said breaking the silence, "its nothing to thank Aurora and i wish i could get to you sooner and for that I'm sorry"he hanged his head like he failed me when he didn't instead him being here makes me feel good. " Its not your fault so you don't have to be sorry, its fine now , i am fine see". I replied to lighten the mood. He looked like he wanted to say but didn't, and simply nodded. I really enjoy his company and i didn't wanted him to leave right now . "Do you want to watch a movie with me?" I asked him so he could stay a little longer. "What do you want to watch?" He asked. "Do you like Harry potter, we could watch that together?" I asked him shyly cuz i didn't knew what he'd feel about me being a potterhead."It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live." He replied smirking. "Oh my god did you just quoted Albus Dumbledore?" I asked him with my hands on my chest looking every bit of shock."Didn't think i knew about harry potter, lemme tell you I've read all the books , smarthead, lets watch the first movie and we will continue from there", he replied looking pleased with himself. "Okay you start the movie I'll be back in a bit" i told him heading towards my room. I quickly washed my makeup ,brushed my teeth and quickly changed into my baggy jersey and shorts and after getting comfy. I headed towards the living room where he was sitting on our couch and set the movie . He was looking handsome as ever with his arm draped over the back of the couch , he looked so big sitting there. Our height difference is so obvious but he never commented about it while other guys would have a field day about it, all my guy friends had always cracked jokes about it to which I'd everytime roll my eyes but he is different and i like that about him. No matter how much i try to stay away from him and not like him , he pulls me that much closer. Today he earned my respect too. "Looking at my beauty, are you?" He asked startling me. "Of course not, my couch is far more beautiful than you". I replied walking toward him with a blanket and sat beside him." Only you can hurt my ego babe" he said winking, to which i rolled my eyes, he is good i give it to him though I'd never say it loudly." Okay , hotshot lets start the movie," i said liking the feel of his body next mine. When the movie started he pulled the blanket over our legs and put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer ,it felt natural and good that i didn't stopped him. For the next couple of hours we sat like that snuggling and talking about all the stuff of harry potter , i like having him around. I love it when he talks harry potter to me. When the movie ended only then we realised that it was 1 in the morning,it was like the time flew by but i still didn't wanted him to leave so i asked," Nikki most probably slept with Ari its late and you won't find any car at this hour, if you want to stay ,you can."
