Brandon's POV “Alpha, dinner is ready.” “I'm not hungry,” I said, dismissing the chef who came to call me for dinner. She nodded in understanding then walked away from my room. I sighed, raking my hands through my hair in frustration. Ever since Isabella left, I've not been able to eat, not just because I couldn't find my appetite but also because I had gotten used to her cooking and was finding it hard to eat the food prepared by another person. It's been less than seventy-two hours since my wife left, and I can't shake off the unfamiliar feeling in my chest. Could it be regret? Nah…definitely not. I was very certain I had stopped loving Isabella a year ago, so what was this unfamiliar feeling? At that moment, I was in my room, a little tattered as my eyes had turned red from lack of sleep and my hair was disheveled from running my hands through it every now and then. I was pacing around like a lost kid, my mind swirling with so many thoughts…Okay, I was only thinking about Isabella. Not like I wanted her back or anything, I was simply worried about her. I guess? “Arghhh! This is driving me crazy!” I groaned in frustration, raking my hand through my hair for the hundredth time that day. I didn't even know what I was feeling. Was it worry, regret or was I simply bothered about how she easily accepted the divorce and rejected me? That smile on her face had been haunting me for days. How could she just smile like that? Was she secretly happy about the divorce? Did she want it as well? I thought she loved me. I pulled out my phone and dialed her number but again, it went straight to voicemail. I frowned in annoyance. Did she really block my number? How could she do that? How do you block the number of someone they love? I dialed another number and on one ring, my Beta answered. “Have you found her yet?” “No Alpha. But…” I ended the call in annoyance, cutting him off. Don't even ask me why I'm searching for my ex-wife because I also do not know. Maybe I was just worried about her because I knew she had nowhere to go, but something within me knew that there was more to it. I bounced onto the couch near the window, my thoughts drifting back to the day I first met Isabella. She was perfect, the most beautiful she-wolf I had ever seen. I didn't have the balls to ask her out properly because I was scared of rejection, so I proposed a contract marriage, claiming that the elders in my pack were forcing me to get married, and to my shock, she agreed. The first few years with Isabella were amazing until I met Stella and realized how boring Isabella was. While Isabella spent most time taking care of the pack and me, Stella was a wildfire, unpredictable, thrilling, and everything I never knew I craved. She was the definition of a baddie. Perfect for a man like me who always had to deal with work. While Isabella dressed boring and barely did her makeup, Stella always looked exotic and inviting. Like I said, a true baddie. I heard the sound of the bathroom door creak open and I hid my phone. Stella was quite insecure and she'd be pissed if she found out I was trying to look for my ex-wife. My d**k sprang up instantly, and a smile tugged at my lips as Stella stepped into view, completely naked. Water dripped from her hair, tracing a path down her neck, over her chest, and along the curves of her body. Unlike Issabella, who always came out wrapped in a towel like we weren’t married, Stella was bold. She never hid herself from me, and no matter how many times I saw her like this, I never got tired of the view. “Why didn't you come join me in the bathroom, babe?” she asked in a sultry voice as she began playing with her hair, arching her body in a way that made it impossible to look away, every movement teasing and deliberate, like she knew exactly the effect she had on me. “I didn't want to waste your time in their love,” I replied as I walked towards her. “You know that if I join you in the bathroom, we wouldn't be out until hours later,” I added, then pulled her in for a hungry kiss, my hands wrapping tightly around her firm butt. “Well, I wasn't complaining.” She said as she pulled out then winked at me. A low growl escaped my mouth when she suddenly pushed her hand into my shorts and grabbed my already hardened d**k. See… bold. Isabella would never. I remember one time when I placed Issabella's hand on my d**k but she blushed, stammered some words and turned away. But Stella? She took what she wanted without hesitation, like she owned every inch of me. “You can join me in the bathroom whenever you wish, my love, I'm not complaining.” She said this while stroking my d**k softly, her intense eyes never leaving my face. She slowly knelt before me and licked my waistline. “Now, be a good boy while Momma shows you why you need to always join her in the bathroom.” She whispered and without even giving me a chance, she pulled my shorts and wrapped her mouth around my d**k, swallowing it whole like it was meant to be there. Then she gave me one of the greatest mouth jobs and in no time, I cummed in her mouth and she swallowed it all. Damn! When she was done, she rose from the ground and kissed me. Then she whispered, “I have good news for you.” “What is that?” I questioned as I stared at her beautiful face lovingly. She smiled, brushing a finger along my jaw. She kissed me, a long, hard one, before she began. “You know how you've been wanting to meet King Kealon?” My heart skipped a bit, as a feeling of excitement crawled in. I knew this was going to be good. “Well,” She continued, giving me a teasing smile. “I've spoken to my father, the Beta, to the former King…Kealon's father and he said he'll put in a word so we can have dinner with them at the palace soon.” Oh heavens. I couldn't even contain my joy as I wrapped Stella in a warm hug and began spinning her around the room, as I filled her face with bomb kisses. “Wait. Wait.” She said between her cute chuckle, and I finally put her down. She rubbed my cheek. “I don't want you to get your hopes too high, love. You know King Kealon is very busy and has not been in the palace for years now. So he may decline this offer or may postpone the dinner longer than you imagine.” “f**k I don't care how long it takes Stella. I'm just happy you went through such lengths for me.” I said happily then pulled her in for another long kiss. She knew how much I respected King Kealon and how I wished to form a good relationship with him, one that would benefit the pack. I wasn't just happy with what Stella did, it was the effort she put into making me happy. Isabella could never. She had nothing. Not even a wolf. And at that moment, I was sure I had made the right choice with Stella. “The more you rise, the closer we are to everything we deserve, my Alpha.” She whispered sweetly and my smile deepened. “Come on baby, I have a gift for you.”
