Isabelle’s POV The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting golden streaks across the bed sheets. I blinked, adjusting to the brightness before rolling over and stretching with a soft groan. My body felt... warm. Heavy. But not in a bad way. More like something had shifted—settled inside me overnight. And then I remembered. The bite. I shot up and shoved the blankets aside, eyes wide. My shoulder—where Nathan had bitten me—was smooth.
