Chapter 4 Why Are You Still Alive?

"Ah!"
I was knocked down by a heavy object. A bloody smell flew into my nasal cavity.
I looked back in horror and saw a big pink tongue just licked my cheek.
t was quite itchy.
"Demon!" I happily turned around and hugged Demon. Demon looked also excited.
It looked at me and kept swinging its tail. It seemed to say happily, "Oh! The pretty human who treats me as a little cat!
Wendy, who was carrying a bucket of meat from the kitchen, came out and was shocked.
"My god! Demon, come down quickly. Don't crush Miss Garn!"
Wendy patted Demon on its head. Then Demon acted like a child who had done something wrong and squatted beside me. It rubbed his head against me.
Wendy said Hilton got a call that night about confidential information in his branch company being stolen by hackers in U nation. He then rushed to stop it.
With the company of Wendy and Demon, I found time flying fast here.
Just when I suspected Hilton might have forgotten I was still at his house, he came back.
I was lying on Demon's belly, basking in the sun coming through the window.
I did not notice Hilton until I heard Sidney was apologizing to Hilton.
"I failed in my duty, Mr. Packman. I left in such a hurry that night that I forgot to tell them to send Miss Garn back."
Hearing it was Sidney, I was delighted to raise my head.
Hilton wore a black customized suit. He was tall and slender. Several strays of hair were scattered around his eyebrows, which might be because he had a rather tight schedule during traveling.
This mess actually added more charm to his presence.
I smiled.
"You're back at last!
Although it was a comfortable life here, I felt not myself after all.
With the instruction from Hilton, Sidney quickly walked in front of me.
"Sorry, Miss Garn. It is my fault. I will send you back."
I hesitated as I glanced at the kitchen with a little reluctance.
Why did they happen to come back when Wendy was making me my favorite dishes?
I hadn't eaten them yet!
"Miss Garn?" Sidney saw that I did not move and called me.
I was about to speak up, then Wendy called, "Rachel! Come! The roast duck is ready!"
I swallowed a mouthful of saliva and looked at Hilton.
Hilton silently went to the front of the table. After sitting down, he glanced at Sidney.
Sidney immediately understood what he meant and said to me, "Miss Garn, please dine first."
I breathed a sign of relief.
White tiger Demon had left after Hilton came back home. There were only me and Hilton at the table,and the atmosphere was a little awkward.
Looking at the table is full of my favorite hot dishes with steam, I was seduced and saliva was secreted from my mouth.
But Hilton sitting on the opposite looked like a god of assassin. He looked at me coldly and did not start eating.
How was I supposed to eat if the host didn't start first?
I was anxious, but I had to hold back.
"You're not hungry?" He suddenly asked and frowned at me.
After I heard his words, I seemed to have been granted amnesty. I quickly picked a piece of hot roast duck that was still squeaking with oil. I dipped it with some sweet sauce, put on sliced green cucumber shreds, and rolled it up with white and fresh dough.
I took a bite of the rolled food and felt the delicious juice of duck bursting into my mouth.
I couldn't help being touched by this happiness and narrowed my eyes. One roll at a time.
I didn't notice Hilton was watching me playfully.
"Are you going to eat it all?" He suddenly asked.
I stopped as I was going to stuff my mouth with roast duck.
I was enjoying the food too much that I forgot Hilton was here!
I gratefully put down my roast duck roll and stared guiltily at the plate.
"Give it to me."
He said lazily.
Hearing this, I obviously felt that the maids and Sidney were shocked.
Wendy was also shocked.
Wendy incredibly watched me silly handed the roll to Hilton. I almost put the roll in my own mouth just now.
I felt it strange to see that Wendy wanted to say something but didn't speak it out. Could it be that Hilton was a clean freak?
Thinking of this, I was immediately ready to stop. But Hilton directly took over my roast duck roll and ate it happily!
I was confused and looked at others who were all stunned. I thought they were really strange.
This was explained later when I heard from Sidney that Hilton directly broken a glass cup on a women's head. Because the women drank wine with Hilton's cup.
By then I realized why they were stunned and why they grew more and more interested in me with their warm eye.
However, at this moment I did not notice the subtlety in Wendy's eye. I was scared and continued to prepare roast duck rolls for Hilton.
When Hilton ate the third roll, he said lightly, "You can eat it now."
I breathed a sigh of relief and began to enjoy the food by myself!
I caught a glimpse of Hilton and realized he still stared at me. He looked like he was enjoying something.
This was so weird. Did this guy have any kind of peculiar idiosyncrasy?
After the meal, Hilton turned to Sidney.
Sidney was going to come forward to take me away, then Hilton suddenly stared at me and frowned, "You just wear this these days?"
I took a look at my clothes and was a little angry, "Mr. Packman, you took me directly from home and didn't allow me to go out. How can I change my clothes?"
His face darkened.
I realized that I had just been a little arrogant!
Talking to him like that!
Was he going to throw me to the wolf?
I looked at him eagerly.
"Sidney, take Miss Garn to buy something before backing home."
My eyes got lit up. It seemed Hilton was not so bad.
Sidney took me to a high-end luxury shopping mall under the name of the Packman family. With the help of a VIP shopping guide, I bought a bunch of clothes who brands were lost to me. I changed all my outfit.
By the time I got back to the Garn family, the three were sitting on the sofa, watching TV and chatting.
Seeing me back home with Sidney by my side, the three looked quite surprised.
Regina was shocked and screamed, "How are you still alive?"
