Athena's POV
I woke to a stinging ache in my shoulder. Confusion was soon fleeting as the realization of what had happened replayed over what had happened a few hours ago. A smile crept across my lips as I rolled beneath his heavy arm to look at him. His snores rumbled the room as though my mate were a bear and not a wolf. As he felt me move, he too moved to pull me tighter to him. I kissed his forehead and he slowly flickered his eyes open.
"Nap over so soon?" he questioned with a playful smirk.
"It must be dinner time now. We should join the others downstairs," my stomach rumbled as I pushed away to get dressed.
