Athena's POV
The moment Abbadon collapsed into Stella's arms, everything seemed to be in slow motion. I jumped up to rush to his side, but it seemed I could not get there fast enough. Darien rushed in, or so I assumed, but in my mind I saw him do the slowest knee skid to Stella and Abbadon's side. I reached for Abbadon, pulling him into my arms and held him. I did not care his weight was crushing me. I needed him close.
