Ella was standing on the balcony overlooking the back yard, her three children were running around and playing together. They seemed happy and cheerful, just like any other afternoon they got to spend together.  Ella’s eyes looked dark and hollow, even though she did not need much sleep she was weathered by the stress she had lately. The children were blissfully unaware, she made sure to not make them worry. Behind her walked a slumped Hemmy, he seemed dejected and forlorn. He stood behind her and took in the sight of Liam’s happy children. It brought a short smile to his face, but it faltered as fast as it came.
