princess, ‘As I said, you should all get some rest, you especially so Torben.’ The Princess spoke with a cold, steely edge to her voice as she barely turned her head to look at Torben. ‘Almar, find them a place where they will not get in the way.’ Almar advanced on Torben, several of the Princess’ other guards drifting into step behind him. He looked Torben squarely in the eyes and prodded him in the chest. ‘You heard Her Highness, get moving, whelp.’ For a second, Torben stood, squared up to Almar and met the shorter man’s gaze.
