I remember falling asleep in my bed, but when I woke I was three stories up on top of a roof of a building. I jolted awake and gasped as I pulled myself back realized where I was. The wind was blowing calmly, which I was thankful for. If I had been up here on a very windy night I would surely of dropped to the ground. It was then that I noticed a bright light from behind me. My name is Zahara Kahn and I definitely shouldn't be on a rooftop in the middle of the night.
As I turned to see where the light was coming I covered my eyes a bit with my hand. There Gabriel was standing in front of me with that smile he wore at the park. I gasped again speechless.
"Do not fear, for the Lord has sent me to deliver a message." He announced.
I remembered he had said the same thing at the park. I wasn't sure why he was repeating himself. Curiosity got the best of me and I asked. "Yes, I'm aware, Gabriel. So what is the news?" I asked with a hint of anticipation.
Gabriel looks at me. "No worries." Then he gave me a wink. "The Lord wanted me to give you a very special gift, Zahara." He told me as he revealed an ancient Persian bow and quiver.
My mouth dropped and my eyes widened. "Is this, mine?" I asked with excitement. My eyes never leaving the bow and quiver.
" Well, of course they are. You will need them. Trust me!" Gabriel replies leaving me with more questions than answers. "As a team you will be the backbone of this task."
I accept the bow and quiver. Just as I was about to ask about the task and team he disappeared. As he disappeared I woke up in my bed.
