The sudden burst of colours blinded the young lady as she marched out of the house, barefooted.'Twas one hot afternoon when she caught her boyfriend with another guy and came off to her as a gay. Delancy raised her arm to shade her eyes against the instant beam of light as she stood in the open with a camarro on repair and a pile of dried leaves settled on her side, her nose crinkled with the smell of dog's piss and deisel which added to her frustration. "I can't belive he was gay all along!" She exclaimed, Her face squinched as she felt a hot sensation burning her toes. Stepping back, in attempt to go back inside the house, the door slammed before she could even turn. There was a click-- followed by silence, he locked the door which blew her top. After playing with her for months, he still has the audacity to add insult to her injury. "That jerk!" She yelled, kicking the door. "Faggots! Go to hell, you piece of s**t!" After minutes of kicking, shouting and cursing her ex, she finally decided to leave. She sighed and stared at her bare feet, "What a fvcking day." she could've called for a friend but she'd only have egg in her face. Delancy was snapped from her reverie when her phone rang from the pocket of her black ripped-jeans. It was her mom calling. Torn between answering or not, she thereupon swiped the screen and placed the phone before her ear. "Yes mom?" She answered, "Hello? Delancy, are you going to your brother's game? He's hoping that you'd come." Said she, It silenced her, she's not in a good shape plus they're really not in good terms. It'll only destroy her brother's game if she and her mom locked horns again. "Sorry, I have so much in my plate right now. Just send my good luck to him. Gotta fly, bye!" She replied, ended the call in two shakes of a lamb's tail. A cab pulled over not long after she slipped her phone in her pocket. She pulled the car door and mounted the car in a haste, " Take me to Garett Street, 4th Avenue." It wasn't long before she realized there was another passenger sitting far beside her. She paused; Couldn't help admiring his built and the way he rocks his plain black shirt and tattered jeans. He looked like he's a guy straight out of romance novels, with his thick well-toned arms, broad shoulders, stubborn jawline, greek nose, extremely long lashes and thick eyebrows. He has this jet black hair that looked so soft, she was tempted to touch the sleeping man's hair but opt not to. He was a stranger after all, a goddamn handsome stranger. Little did she know he's awake, and he's Satan in his human form. Though his holiness removed from him and he was demoted from his heavenly position, he's still God's most beautiful child. He's still as powerful as ever. She was gawking him, eyeing every corner of his face which he finds annoying but ended up doing nothing against it. He can kill her in a snap, turn her into a pool of blood but he chose not to. There's something in this girl and he wants to find out. Maybe she can be his loyal servant, he needs someone to run errands for him in this realm anyways. He smirked and opened his eyes, she almost jumped from her seat as their eyes met, "Done checking me out, human?" "Oh my god! You're awake?!" Satan cringed upon hearing 'god' from the human, he really should've killed her. "Why do you always call for father every single time? It's not like he'll reply. He's a manipulative boomer, you know?" She only gave him a perplexed face, unable to understand what he meant. "Huh? What father?" "Your god. The s**t of a father you've been praying and praising to?" What a waste of looks, she thought. He's handsome but he must be off his rocker. So she gave him a sly smile, "Okay, whatever you say so. I'm Delancy, what's your name?" He just stared at her hand reaching unto him. What does this human think of him? He thought. "I'm Satan, the god of sinners. You should kiss my feet or knowtow before me, but we're in this tiny moving shelter so I'll settle with a bow." "What? Are you on drugs? Maybe you escaped from an asylum- The driver cut her off as the car pulled over Garett Street's crowded sidewalk. She quickly jumped off the car and paid the driver. Walked a few steps away when the driver called her and said something, "I don't wanna stick my nose into your business but I just wanna ask who are you talking to? When I looked into the mirror you're not even holding a phone." That made her halt and look back to the cab driver but a man was towering her, he was facing against the sun, in his shadowed face there glowed his pure black eyes. Struggling to look up and see him clearly, she thereupon backed away to see who it was. He has a smug grin on his face, "I told you, I'm Satan."
