On Thursday morning, I woke up early as usual and joined mom in the kitchen. I frowned immediately I set my eyes on the kitchen table. The recipes displayed on the table were quite much for an ordinary breakfast. I wondered what they were celebrating.
"Good morning, mom," I greeted her with my eyes on the table.
"Mia, get to work immediately. We don't have much time."
"What are we celebrating?"
"Your sister's friend visited yesterday and you couldn't offer him anything! I called my boss and told him I would be absent today."
"Why?"
"I want to see him."

"Mia, get down to work! We have no time! Stop asking questions!"
"I don't think he's coming today."
"Is that what your sister told you?"
