He let out a soft sigh. His entire face was filled with tenderness and sorrow.
"But if you're grieving over that bastard, don't waste your tears! I never approved of you being with him. You're so stubborn—you'd rather sever our bond than leave him."
I peeked out, and seeing how weathered my father looked after all these years, I burst into tears.
