FAYE I'd probably drawn the attention of others at this bar when I straddled the barstool and ordered a neat Jack Daniel's. By saying neat it meant no mixer, no ice, no water on the side, and not chilled since the bottle just came out on the shelf. s**t, I missed my own bistro, I thought. A moment later, the Jack in a highball glass landed in front of me. I swirled the rich, amber whiskey in my glass, raised it to the bartender and took a sip.
