Ch. 4. Running is futile

Bee hurriedly looks through each stall, once she gets to the last one she finds Lottie curled into a ball on top of the toilet with her eyes closed and her hands over here ears. Bee takes a deep breath and slowly approaches her, she taps her on the shoulder twice to let Lottie know it was her. They both had created a way of communicating through taps one day when Lottie was really sick and could barely see or hear. One tap meant I'm okay, two taps meant it's me, three taps meant I'm not okay and four taps meant are you okay. It's not the most sophisticated but it's worked for the girls since then.

Lottie looks up and as soon as she sees Bee she bursts into tears. Bee pulls Lottie off of the toilet and into a hug. "Come on Lo lets get you home." Bee whisper to Lottie, she nods her head. Both of them sneak around the school to both avoid teachers and Nasira. They go into the building and grab their stuff before hurriedly walking in the direction of their houses. 

However once the reach halfway, Nasira appears before them, Lottie jumps behind Bee and grabs her clothes. "Lottie, I have been ordered to take you to Ruhanni." The girls hear in their heads. Lottie shakes her head and runs over the road towards the park. Bee stands her ground and glares at Nasira "Leave her alone!" Nasira looks at Bee unfazed by her yelling "You shouldn't be here" Bee hears, panic quickly flashes over her face but is replaced by her glare. Nasira disappears, and Bee hurriedly chases after Lottie. 

Lottie runs into the park and sees Nasira appear in front of her, she freaks and continues running through the park. Bee soon catches up to Lottie and points towards the closest house, but Nasira appears right in front of them "Running is futile" They both hear, which freaks Lottie out even more and she runs straight towards the forest in the opposite direction. "Lottie no!" Bee yells after her as she rushes to catch up.

Lottie runs through the forest before stopping in a clearing to catch her breath. Nasira once again appears in front of her, "Why... are you... doing this?" Lottie says between breaths, "I am following orders" she hears. 

Bee appears in the clearing and puts herself between Nasira and Lottie. "she isn't going with you!" Bee yells. "Yes, she is" they both hear. Lottie goes to run away, but Bee grabs onto her "Don't" she orders. Lottie struggles to release Bee's grip once she does she trips and falls. Once she opens her eyes, she looks around and doesn't see Bee or Nasira. Lottie starts to panic, she sits up and franticly looks around.

Before Lottie reaches absolute panic Bee and Nasira fall next to hear. Bee has a hold of Nasira's what you could only assume was hair. It was thicker than hair and green. Lottie looks at the two and says "Where are we!? what the hell just happened?"

Nasira disappears and appears in front of Lottie, "We are in Ruhanni forest. You fell through a Gateway"
