The flight back to their home city is turbulent.

Elara is asleep in the seat beside him, exhausted from the emotional weight of meeting Irina and learning the full scope of what Maya has endured. She's curled up under a blanket, her face finally peaceful after hours of barely suppressed panic.
Cain should sleep too. Should rest while he can before the storm that's coming.
Instead, he's reviewing personnel files on his laptop, searching for the leak.
