Chapter Six Monday December 18, 2017 I walked to the lookout this morning on my way to Ed’s Diner. It takes me longer to get there, now that it’s too cold to ride my unicycle. I’ve been walking there, on that route through the lookout, every morning in November and December to get breakfast. In a way I’m spiritually hailing Sarah to return by going there, but at the same time, it’s a bit of self-deprecation towards the sentiment of my book—a book that attempts to hail Paula. Over the weekend, I got a few copies of my book to be displayed for sale on consignment at an art gallery overlooking the lake in the center of the city. When I arrived at work today, one of my co-workers asked me to sign a copy he just picked up at the art gallery over the weekend. And in the same sentiment as the w
