“What do you mean you’re leaving?” Hannah moaned.
“You can’t leave, you’re not even allowed to leave the room without a chaperone,” Frankie whined.
“I’m not leaving for good, Hannah. Frankie, I won’t be alone, Lucas and Vanessa are coming with me. They’re more than capable of looking after me and my health.” I decided to spend some time at Blue Ridge, to research my familial connection with Samuel. I asked Lucas to come along knowing he would bring Vanessa. She needs the specialised care they can provide there, something isn’t right with her pregnancy, I just know it.
“Why can’t I go with you?” Hannah doubles down on her whining.
“You’re invited to Leah’s Luna ceremony, I’m sure she’ll be happy to have you arrive a day or two early,” I placate H
