The first thing Jeremiah felt when he regained consciousness was a splitting headache. It was followed by a sour and uncomfortable feeling in his stomach that was almost like a pair of hands kneading his organs, forcing him to want to vomit. With a blur of vision, Jeremiah stared at the unfamiliar ceiling above his head. He panicked when he didn't know where he was and what had happened earlier. "You're finally awake." A familiar voice said next to him. Jeremiah moved his head to the side, he saw Seth sitting with his work tablet. He wanted to say something, but his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth and his throat was dry. Seth got up and gave him a glass of water through a straw. "How are you feeling? I'll call the doctor." "No need," said Jeremiah hoarsely. Seth sat back down.
