I woke up feeling my heavy lids. As I made sense of where I was, I knew I was back to my assigned room that Ian had given me 'gracefully'. So my escape plan failed. s**t. Am I going to get punished now? A knock came on the door, disrupting my pessimistic thoughts. Amanda walked inside carrying a tray of food. 'Oh you are awake big sis. How are you feeling now?', she said, putting the tray on my small bedside table.
'Just a bit of a headache', I replied. 'Should go away with a bit of time'.
'That's good. Our alpha found you in the backside mansion exit forest. One of the invaders tried to hurt you, big sis. I am glad our alpha was there to save you. You should go and thank him later', Amanda said sweetly. God, this girl was so innocent and pure.
