RIOT'S POV
I sat before my laptop, staring as tons of messages pour in, but none from my favorite little wild may.
My heart shifted sadly, and it felt as if I'd just swallowed a spoilt pill.
I closed the laptop and decided to practice with a sword since sleep refused to come.
My mind has been in chaos right from the moment I left the hospital. My heart burns with hatred to myself, for taking this marriage decision at the first place.
I felt like cursing myself, because I couldn't even tell her that the mad Alpha Riot she saw wasn't me, but another person.
Getting to the training grounds where I assemble my men, my mind suddenly flashed to the scene at the hospital, when she spat into my face.
I thrusted the sword into the banana nearby angrily, imagining the innocent guy as Eros, the monster that turned me into a monster like him.
"Arrrgh!!!" I growled as I thrusted the sword again into the second tree beside it, this time very hard, snapping the not too fat guy into two— and that one I imagined it to be me, myself and I.
"You're indeed a monster, Riot" I admitted to myself. "You don't deserve her!!!" With that rage, I successfully bring down another small tree, before withdrawing.
I fell to the field, staring at the small moon up there, wishing I could reach out and pick it. Perhaps it would understand me, but it's just a twisted fantasy.
As much as I wanted to be cool with the fact that people call me all sorts of name, I still hate it to bone, but hearing it from Maia, the woman that took my first night, I really felt bad.
"Never seen you this down?" I heard a familiar voice behind me, I stood up and Theophilus was there.
I was able to stand up to greet him but he bent down and laid beside me. "Opportunity to lie down in tranquility to watch the moon doesn't come always, bro. Let's talk while watching"
I chuckled softly, then laid down beside him. "Did you always believe I'm mad?" I asked immediately my back touched the wet grass.
Ever since Alpha Theophilus brought me in, I always considered him as my elder brother, and his Luna who loved me so much as my sisters-in-law. I don't just have the urge to tell him about Eros, I wished I could but....
"Are you really Mad?" He answered with a question, making me turn to look at him.
"Bro what are you saying?"
He shifted and pointed to the clean, starless sky beside the moon. "See. That's how my mind is. If you say you are, I believe you and if you say you don't, I believe you"
His words sounded like cold water to my hot blooded body. Even though this is not the first time I'll be hearing this from him, but I still felt better.
I looked at the sky again, my mind wandered to the days I still chat with Maia as Daddy M. "How much I missed her"
"What?" Theophilus suddenly asked. I realized my thoughts has leaked out immediately and I quickly sit up.
"What happened to you?"
He got up too, "You miss "her?"
"No. It's not the "her" you're thinking. I'm talking about my mother" I quickly lied. Theo knew me to be fearless and ruthless. I don't have the guts to say it too, that I've slept with a woman before.
Theo giggled like a happy child. "Miss your mother? On your wedding night...?"
Damn!! How should I have forgotten tonight is my wedding night indeed. I smiled forcefully. "I sent my beta to tell you earlier that my bride got into an accident, right?"
"But your face doesn't look like you're missing the bride....?" He stressed again, his inquisitive prying eyes searching me.
I jumped to my feet, embarrassed as if the whole world is watching me poo. "I... I mean it. I really don't..."
"Why are you blushing then?"
"I'm not thinking of anyone!" I snapped and ran out of the garden immediately.
I was really embarrassed. "Damnit Riot!!"
For the entire night, my mind is unsettled. Waited to see her at the break of the day.
When it seems like night is stretching more than normal, I laid on the bed, and instantly, I fell asleep into a slumber~~~

I was shocked to meet Theophilus and his Luna, Luna Gloria at my door the next day, already dressed and carrying various set of fruits.
Immediately they turned to see me, their smiles warned that something is wrong. "What's with the smile?"
"Alpha Riot you suddenly look very handsome this morning, mind sharing me your skincare tip?" Luna Gloria asked smelled my body.
I stepped back. "What? I haven't taken a bath"
"What!?" The couple gasped, before looking at each other's dress ups. "Did you forget you have to be at the hospital early?"
"Why does that concern you two?"
Theophilus gritted his teeth irritably. "You have to be at your wife's side until she wakes up! You can't be a loner forever. You need to...."
"She's in coma" I cut into his words.
"Exactly what I'm saying. Your should...." Theophilus stopped. "What did you just say?"
I yawed. "I'm telling you my wife is in coma so I'm marrying her sister instead"
The disappointment on their faces is so evident that they could swallow me whole if they had the chance. Luna Gloria dropped the fruits. "We don't need to be there then. We shall wait until you bring her home"
"We still have to go see the one that's in coma!" Theophilus faced his wife. "Who knows if he's lying"
"Urgh!" I growled, sitting on the next sofa. "Why should you be worried about that?"
"We need to be worried" Luna Gloria almost yelled. "Is it until you become a grandpa?"
Such is the life with the two of them—almost overprotective. It feels good even though too much, but I can't complain, because I'm now used to it.
